Over the last year or so I have experienced an opportunity to investigate lots of Canada, starting with Victoria and Vancouver in summer time of 2005, ongoing with a trip to the Canadian Rockies and Calgary earlier that year. I also took two visits to Ottawa: throughout Winterlude in March and throughout the world famous Tulip Festival in May possibly of 2006. Then I extended up with a trip to Montreal where I had an opportunity to begin to see the exuberant Canada Day Parties in an area that certainly knows how to party!

Tenth-generation Acadian descendant Wayne Melanson offered me a good introduction to early French record, while his double brother Alan Melanson extended with Annapolis record through the locally famous Annapolis Regal Candlelight Graveyard Tour. Whenever I journey I also want to spotlight and get to learn local hospitality entrepreneurs, and the Garrison Home Bed and Breakfast is among the key hospitality establishments in Annapolis Royal. I questioned manager Patrick Redgrave whose personal history shows how one Toronto wine merchant was attracted to Nova Scotia to take up a completely new living for himself. I also had an opportunity to trial the cuisine of the Garrison Home Cafe, certainly one of Annapolis Royal's most famous restaurants.

On time 2 I began my trip along the Evangeline Walk, first ending at the Annapolis Regal Tidal Generating Place, certainly one of just two such flowers in existence in the world. From there I went on a lovely driving visit along the Annapolis Stream to my next end: the Keep Stream First State Heritage and Social Center where I learned all about the annals and traditions of the Mi'kmaq People.

After having a quick lunch in Digby I extended my southwesterly drive with a few prevents to see a few of the lovely churches in the St. Mary's Bay place, which is an Acadian stronghold to the day. My birth location was Yarmouth, a traditional shipbuilding and fishing area situated on the western idea of Nova Scotia. Day 3 began with tasty breakfast at the MacKinnon-Cann Inn, another restored Victorian mansion.
