Born in Riga, Latvia, David specializes in illustrative realism, portraits and bold opaque tattoos.

Being the owner of a friendly tattoo boutique, Ecdysis studio, David is available by appointment in Edinburgh. His love of the craft comes from the connection between the client and himself; they offer up their time and imprint their personality, and in turn, David imprints his art in exchange. He’s known all over Europe, tattooing in Germany, Denmark, Ireland, England, Italy, Poland, Portugal, and now, Scotland.

Tattooing since 2013, David draws inspiration from popular culture, film, TV and most importantly, the people around him.
