ULAN BATOR Orleans Darkwa Jersey , Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- The newly elected Mongolian President Khaltmaa Battulga discussed his foreign policy regarding Russia and the development of Mongolia-Russia relations in an exclusive interview with Russian news agency TASS on Tuesday.

This is Battulga's first interview with Russian media after his inauguration ceremony in early July, when he said he will "expand friendly relations with China and Russia in all spheres."

In the interview with TASS, the president also expressed his intention to participate in the third Eastern Economic Forum to be held in the Russian city of Vladivostok on Sept. 6-7.

In recent years, high-level mutual visits by leaders of Mongolia and Russia have demonstrated growing political relations between the two countries.

Trade turnover between Mongolia and Russia amounted to 559 million U.S. dollars in the first half of 2017 Brandon Marshall Jersey , up 43 percent year on year.

A trade deficit remains for Mongolia, as Russia currently accounts for more than 90 percent of the total volume of bilateral trade, among which oil products and electricity take the largest share. Russia only accounts for about 2 percent of Mongolian exports.

Beijing and neighboring Hebei province's Zhangjiakou have continued fighting to co-host the 2022 Winter Olympic Games since the cities launched their joint bid on Nov 3.

But they face stiff competition from several challengers - Norway's Oslo, Ukraine's Lviv, Sweden's Stockholm, Kazakhstan's Almaty and a joint effort from Poland and Slovakia.

"We declared our intention to co-host the Winter Games with Beijing in 2003 and have never given up on the idea Darian Thompson Jersey ," Zhangjiakou's bidding office director Zhang Chunsheng said.

The plan calls for starting the 16-day event at the end of January or beginning of February, depending on weather conditions.

The excellent natural conditions and proximity to Beijing - only 170 kilometers away - have long made the county popular among skiers from Beijing. Its skiing industry began in 1996.

Last year, more than 100,000 people hit the slopes of Chongli's Genting Resort Davis Webb Jersey , one of the county's four major winter sports sites. Most came from Beijing, the resort's COO Gary Grant said.
