Cordless Cellular Blinds - Installation Guide

Hello everyone, welcome back to our article again. Today we are going to talk about how to install Cordless window blinds. You know, like throwing sharks at me that sort of stuff anyway. So we have to work on the last one. I just measured that one from the right side of the opening and just like the others marked it and on this one, I actually stuck the bracket first and I drilled the pilot holes with the bracket up. So you could do it that way given that your two-sided sticky tape is strong enough to hold it up and you don't jar it loose but it worked as you can see it stayed up there with the two-sided sticky tape while I drilled the pilot holes and then, of course, put the mounting screws in now on this occasion. Here is this last one I'll put the mounting screws in with the drill and like usual I don't crank it down with the drill twerk it down. Ethan will come in and tell his skills and he will tighten these up for me using the ratchet screwdriver. Now I had to tell him not to use a super-strength because the super-strength could strip those screws and that would not be a good thing all right. So once we have all four of those mounted in, we're gonna break out the valence clips and you know it depends on which unit you get. They all look pretty similar though and really these just clip right onto the frame there and you just have gotta snap them in and don't put it where it's gonna interfere with the mechanics of the unit itself and on this particular one. They provided me with three clips and I pretty much evenly spaced it after putting the clips on. We're not going to put the valance on yet not until we put it up we'll put the side covers on I'm not sure whether they'll just install this from the factory but whatever it's not hard to put on put the side covers on both sides. Here it takes a little figuring out, by the way, the left and right sides of art. My unit's not the same.

So you have to put the left side on the left side and the right side on the right side on the other. They won't fit the left won't fit on the right and vice versa. I don't know they're not quite right and now we do and then we'll put the bottom covers on here and this doesn't seem to matter which way you put it in and although I flip it around. I don't think it matters just trying to get it in there we go okay I get the other side and then we're going to be ready to put this guy up now on this particular. Ones I have and the newer ones they're coming up with better engineering and it's easier to pull all right. So we're gonna put this in. So that the front lip of these mounts will go on the front of the frame the newer ones are pretty easy to put in you slide it in and kind of lean it and. So you can see these little metal lips going into the top of the blind and then the back you just snap it down or push it in and it snaps down by itself it's rather easy especially compared to how the previous units were and it just snaps in when you push it in it's nice when you put this little this is the adjustment for the blinds. You know opening and closing them the louvers themselves it just snaps in and then we're going to do the valance which snaps into the clips that we already mounted and it's a little manipulation there and then you want to make sure it's even like you find that it's you know a little bit to the right or left. You can just push it you know, adjust it slightly while it's actually mounted and there it is guys you can see it came out pretty nice. It looks good, that's for sure this is much nicer than those blackout cellular blinds and you can see how I have the louvers right on the edge of the frame. I've done that in the past where I put it in too far and it looks horrible if you put it back too fast you gotta make sure and if you have it sticking out it's really bad too. So you want to get it reasonably close to the edge of the frame and you're good to go and this is how simple it is while you just push it up and it stays up. So that's it team we are now com we have completed our blind installation till next time.
