Tax Form 1310is used to claim a tax refund on behalf of a deceased taxpayer. The person claiming the refund must be the deceased taxpayer's legal representative, which could be the executor of the estate, the surviving spouse, or another individual authorized to act on behalf of the deceased taxpayer.
