The Cincinnati Bengals held their http://www.officialbengalsshop.com/shop-by-players-raheem-mostert-j... first practice of Phase 3 of their offseason program on Tuesday, but cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick wasn't able to participate in the first OTA of May. The former Alabama standout's right hand was in a cast.
"Nothing too serious," Kirkpatrick told WCKY-AM in Cincinnati. "I got a small fracture. But a couple of weeks, I'll be back out there."
Kirkpatrick said he suffered the injury in a "freak accident."
Cincinnati coach Marvin Lewis didn't put http://www.officialbuccaneersshop.com/shop-by-players-gerald-mccoy-... a timetable on Kirkpatrick's return.
Kirkpatrick said he kept busy at practice despite not being able to play.
"I'd definitely love to be out there, especially when those guys are out there giving it their all and I'm standing on the sidelines," Kirkpatrick said. "But I'm contributing. I'm helping the young guys. I have my script. I'm following the young guys around, just trying to make sure they're up to speed on a lot of things where coach ain't got Ronnie Stanley Youth Jersey to worry too much about it. At the end of the day, I'd rather be out there with my brothers."

In March, Kirkpatrick signed a five-year, $52.5 million contract with the Bengals rather than become a free agent.
In his fifth season with Cincinnati and his second season as a starter, the former Gadsden City High School standout intercepted three Chris Johnson Jersey passes and made 46 tackles, but the Bengals missed the NFL playoffs for the first time in his career in 2016.
