Change Log v0.94 : Yep, another game update, yay o/ As you can see we've been doing a lot updates lately. We hope you enjoy how the game is so far. So this one is basically bug fixes, some small updates in combat and stuff. Here it is. - Finishing move triggers only with 5 squad members. NPCs don't count.. Change Log v1.04: Difficulty, Mecha and Bug Fixes! : More fixes to newly-found issues are being deployed today as the game gets better and more stable. We are also looking at our analytics to figure out how youve been playing the game. Turns out that we can crank the difficulty up just a little bit, as were confident you can take on the extra challenge! Yesterday we sat down to discuss the future of the game based on feedback from fans and critics. We apologize in advance for the unexpected skill changes in your current Mecha loadout. - To-Hit chance passive bonuses on Mecha Arm items decreased by 20% across the board; - "Colored Box of Justice" now provides the "Super Shield" skill from level 2 onwards; - "Shield Shell" now provides a big passive Defense bonus instead of "Super Shield"; - "True Striker" now provides the "Precision Strike" skill from level 2 onwards; - "Precise Puncher" now provides a big passive Hit Chance skill instead of "Precision Strike"; Bug Fixes: - Fixed Techies Multishot freezing the episode when attacking objects like mines, sprouts and portals; - Fixed a bug in the Counter attack probability; - Fixed a bug when counter attacking a counter attack where one of the characters would die in the sequence of attacks. This sometimes freezed the episode; - Fixed camera crew animation on Dead End map; - Fixed an issue where some Villain X single-target attacks were not Dodge-able; - Fixed an issue where Ironing Mans attacks were not Dodge-able; - Fixed achievements: "Fully Decked Out", "Can We Afford This?" and "Going Fancy". (These will work retroactively as you open the Upgrade Window); - Fixed achievements: "With All My Heart" and "Don't Ever Forget".. Free Directors Cut Update Now Available : Its finally here! Wed like to thank you for your patience and support through all these years. To all the fans and backers: this game is not ours, it is yours! The "Director's Cut" free update to Chroma Squad brings long-awaited new features and improvements to the game. Let's go through each one of them! The adventure no longer ends after the credits roll - with the "New Game+" and "New Game++" features you can keep playing with your current party, facing randomized enemies and goals on the episodes, crafting new items, and perhaps making different story choices that could lead you to unexplored paths! The Mecha Fights have been completely revamped to be faster and more fun, and the random chances were replaced by new reflex mini-games! Difficulty levels have been completely rebalanced to offer a more customizable experience, including a new super-hard mode called "Heroic Difficulty"! We have also tweaked a few encounters in the game that were famously unfair or long (*cough cough* Mini-Kaiju Squad *cough cough*)! And that's not all - we also fixed some bugs and the game should be running smoother and faster overall! **IMPORTANT: If you don't like the changes, the previous version of Chroma Squad will be forever available in the "Legacy" branch on Steam.** And that's it! Today, we announce the release of the free Episode Editor update for the Steam version of Chroma Squad on PC, Mac and Linux. The "Episode Editor" free update to Chroma Squad allows players to create and share their custom Episodes using the Steam Workshop feature. The editor is very powerful, allowing for complex episodes including custom dialogue, cutscenes, battles and more. There is full Documentation available for the editor, as well as a video tutorial. The games designer Mark Venturelli also included a brand new Chroma Squad episode called Marks Wedding, designed to slot right into the main campaigns 4th Season. A few months later, I was brought on board to help the Behold Studios team in making this dream come true! Slowly, throughout the years, we kept improving the game, surprised and motivated by how much love it got from you, our fans. You never forgot about Chroma Squad, so neither did we! Last year we saw the Directors Cut free update, with lots of much-requested features such as the New Game+ and controller support..
