The animated film, directed by Jean-Philippe Vine, Sarah Smith and Octavio Rodriguez, opens in theaters on October 22.

R ON DA ERROR is the story of Barney, a shy high school student, and Ron, his new connected walking and talking digital device, created to become his new best friend.

Ron's hilarious dysfunctions in the age of social media launch them on an action-packed journey together in which the boy and the robot embrace the wonderful mess of true friendship. RON DA ERROR features the English voices of Zach Galifianakis, Jack Dylan Grazer, Olivia Colman, Ed Helms, Justice Smith, Rob Delaney, Kylie Cantrall, Ricardo Hurtado, Marcus Scribner, and Thomas Barbusca.

For the original English version, Liam Payne will also voice a character from the film, which is directed by Sarah Smith and Pixar veteran Jean-Philippe Vine with Octavio E. Rodríguez as co-director. The script is written by Peter Baynham & Sarah Smith. Julie Lockhart, also a co-founder of Locksmith, and Lara Breauy produce alongside Elisabeth Murdoch, the studio president. Sarah Smith and Peter Baynham are executive producers.

Payne, has sold more than 23 million singles and more than three million solo albums since One Direction, going multi-platinum. He released his debut solo album 'LP1' in December 2019 via Capitol Records, which featured the hit singles 'Strip That Down', 'Polaroid' and 'Familiar'.
