Casino is one of Martin Scorsese's best films, and it explores the cut-throat world of mafia infiltration into casinos. It features an outstanding cast including Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci and Sharon Stone.

Sam Rothstein (Robert De Niro) is a Jewish-American gambling handicapper who is used by the mob to oversee their casinos in Las Vegas. But his efforts to fly straight with his wife Ginger (Sharon Stone) are thwarted by a psychopathic childhood friend Nicky Santoro (Joe Pesci).
Robert De Niro

Robert De Niro is known for a number of his on-screen roles, including his portrayal of Sam “Ace” Rothstein in Casino. He also starred in Being Flynn, Silver Linings Playbook, and The Family.

In addition to his acting, De Niro also has a successful career as a director. He has directed many films, including Taxi Driver (1976), The Irishman (1997), The King of Comedy (2013), and The Family (2013).

As one of the best actors in the world, De Niro has received a number of accolades, including two Oscar nominations. He was awarded an Academy Award in 1981 for his role in the boxing drama Raging Bull and also won a Golden Globe for his performance in the film.

He is regarded as one of the finest American film stars of all time and he is an inductee into the Italian-American Hall of Fame. He has also been a member of the American Film Institute since 2006.

Scorsese's latest movie is based on the life of real-life mob associate Frank Rosenthal, who ran casinos in the 1970s and 80s for the Chicago Mafia. It follows casino executive Sam “Ace” Rothstein (Robert De Niro) as he battles his old mafia buddy Nicky Santoro for control of Vegas' gambling scene, inevitably leading to bloodshed and extortion.

A nuanced and powerful performance, De Niro portrays Sam Rothstein in a way that is both charming and ruthless. He is ably supported by Joe Pesci as his right hand man, Nicky Santoro, and Sharon Stone as Ginger McKenna, Ace’s beautiful but troubled wife. www.onca.com

This is De Niro’s most memorable film, certainly since his breakout turn in Goodfellas and The King of Comedy. It also marks a turning point in his career, with De Niro becoming more serious and focused as an actor.
Joe Pesci

Joe Pesci has an extensive and impressive acting career that spans over 40 years. He has starred in many different films, including Raging Bull, Goodfellas and Casino. He is known for his tough, volatile characters and has received both accolades and awards.

In the 1980s, Joseph Pesci was cast as Joey LaMotta, the cool-headed brother and manager of boxer Jake La Motta in Martin Scorsese’s epic Raging Bull. This film brought him to the attention of Robert De Niro, who recommended him for other roles.

After a few minor roles, he became one of the most sought after character actors in Hollywood. He teamed up with buddy De Niro again in Once Upon a Time in America, appeared with Rodney Dangerfield in Easy Money and almost stole the show as con man Leo Getz in Lethal Weapon 2.

The next year, he was nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for playing the psychotic Tommy DeVito in Goodfellas. Over the next three decades, Pesci had a prolific acting career and was nominated for multiple awards and honors.

For his role in Casino, Pesci portrayed a real-life mob enforcer named Nicky Santoro, based on real-life hood Tony Spilotro. This was his third collaboration with Scorsese, following Raging Bull and Once Upon a Time in America.

Despite his reputation for tough-guy characters, Pesci is a gifted comedian. He has a strong comic presence and his portrayal of Leo Getz in Lethal Weapon 2 showed off his comedic skills.

In 1995, Pesci teamed up with Scorsese again to play another deranged gangster, Nicky, in Casino. He also starred in the comedy 8 Heads in a Duffel Bag and Gone Fishin’, but these movies failed to make any impact at the box office.
Sharon Stone

After making her big break in Martin Scorsese's Basic Instinct, Sharon Stone went on to land her biggest role as Ginger McKenna in Casino. She also received a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination for her work.

Although many actresses, including Nicole Kidman, Melanie Griffith, Cameron Diaz and Uma Thurman were considered for the role, Stone was given the job. It was her decision to accept the role, and it changed the course of her career forever.

In her sexy, yet erratic character, Stone plays against type, and she proves herself to be more than just an abrasive hustler. Rather, she refocuses the movie on Ginger's needs and addictions, finding the human center of the story.

Her character, based on Geri McGee, is one of the most eerie and electric characters in any Martin Scorsese film. She's a gorgeous hustler who draws the attention of fastidious casino boss Ace Rothstein (Robert De Niro) to the tune of Mickey & Sylvia’s “Love is Strange,” but she's also just a woman, and her love for her child threatens to ruin everything.

The movie is a pseudo-documentary, which makes for some fascinating scenes that don't feel overly long or drawn out. It also incorporates a lot of music, which is an excellent way to get the story across.

In an interview with Stephen Colbert, Sharon Stone explained that the film helped her regain confidence in her abilities as an actress. She also said that it was a great experience to work with such talented actors as De Niro and Joe Pesci. She had never starred in such a dramatic, action-packed role before. She's very grateful that she got to do it.
Joey McKenna

Joey McKenna is an American freestyle wrestler whose competitive career started at Blair Academy, a top prep school in his home state of New Jersey. After earning an honorable third place at the National Prep Tournament and two podiums at Stanford University, he continued to progress in his sport with stints at the University of Ohio and Pennsylvania Regional Training Center.

He has competed in the prestigious Ironman and Beast of the East tournaments, both of which he has won. He is also an All-American in the collegiate ranks and has represented his country in international competitions. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Wrestling Club and hopes to continue his career at the world level.

In addition to being a talented athlete, McKenna is also a well-rounded actor. He is a natural on the screen and has a strong acting presence with a good amount of chemistry with his co-stars.

His role in Casino was no exception to this rule. The movie was a massively successful box office hit and received a ton of awards for its production and performance. The film was also a major milestone for McKenna, as it was the first time that he had performed on a live stage.

The movie also featured a number of other high-profile actors, including Robert De Niro, Sharon Stone, and Joe Pesci. The latter played the most prominent role in the film and was largely responsible for its success.

The film was produced by Martin Scorsese, a famous film director who has made his name on movies such as Raging Bull and Good Fellas. The movie features a number of memorable scenes, many of which are based on real-life events.
Anthony Spilotro

Tony Spilotro was born in Chicago, the son of a restaurant owner who ran into trouble with the local mobsters. He began committing petty crimes as a teenager, including shoplifting and purse snatching.

He became a made man in 1963, allowing him to control bookmaking operations on the northwest side of Chicago. He also developed a reputation for brutality and became a feared criminal.

One of the early acts that endeared him to his mob bosses was overseeing the torture and murder of two young thugs, Billy McCarthy and Jimmy Miraglia. They had killed a couple of people in a suburban neighborhood known as Elmwood Park, which was home to several high-profile members of the Chicago Outfit.

These killings won Spilotro a reputation for brutality and helped him earn the title of "made." But it would come at a cost. After the M&M murders, he was accused of committing more violence, which caused some of his mob bosses to disapprove.

As a result, he was indicted for murder twice. He was later convicted of a third time, and he was forced to serve five years in jail.

After his release, he formed a burglary ring with his brother Michael. They were called the Hole in the Wall Gang, a group of mobsters who broke into casinos to steal precious jewelry and other items.

In 1995, Martin Scorsese directed a film about the mob called Casino. The movie starred Robert De Niro as a Chicago Outfit member who runs a casino. It also starred Joe Pesci as Nicky Santoro, the barbaric mob enforcer who protects him.

Although the movie Casino is a masterpiece, it misses the mark in some important places. One of these places is the death of Anthony and Michael Spilotro. Their bodies were found buried in an Indiana cornfield.
