Viscose is a very delicate fabric that is highly absorbent, inelastic, and especially so when wet. Due to this, the dress wash and iron service advise hand washing rather than machine washing in cold or lukewarm water (no more than 20° C).



If you use a washing machine rather than wash your clothes by hand, use the delicate cycle or "Hand wash" option and put your clothing in a wash bag to avoid tearing or other damage to the fabric from rubbing against the drum.
