Norco has the potential to impair your thinking and reactions. If you do not know how Norco will affect you, do not drive or operate machinery.

Before taking any other cold, allergy, pain, or sleep medication, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Many combination medicines contain acetaminophen (sometimes abbreviated as APAP). Taking certain medications together can result in an overdose of acetaminophen, which can be fatal. To see if a medication contains acetaminophen or APAP, look at the label.

Do not drink alcohol because it may increase your risk of liver damage while taking acetaminophen.

blurred vision
drowsiness, headache
upset stomach, constipation
dry mouth

Serious side effects
unusual thoughts or behavior, confusion
sighing, noisy breathing, shallow breathing, breathing that stops during sleep
a light-headed feeling
easy bruising or bleeding
seizure (convulsions)
missed menstrual periods, infertility,
sexual problems, loss of interest in sex, impotence
liver problems, including nausea, upper stomach pain, itching, loss of appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stools, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes)
high levels of serotonin in the body, symptoms may include agitation, hallucinations, fever, sweating, shivering, fast heart rate, muscle stiffness, twitching, loss of coordination, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea
low cortisol levels, symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, dizziness, worsening tiredness or weakness
