Bimatoprost, also known as Latisse or Lumigan, belongs to a group of drugs called prostanoids, which are synthetic structural analogs of prostaglandin. This medication is used to treat patients with not enough to eyelashes. Bimatoprost makes the eyelashes additionally noticeable by causing spare eyelashes to grow and making them longer, thicker, and darker.
