Using a grow tent offers a lot of benefits, which is why it is recommended if you are growing plants indoors.
First, it allows you to create a separate space within a room which is very handy if you are living in a small house or apartment. Second, it is a good way to keep the strong odor from cannabis from the rest of the apartment.
It is also a good option if you are growing weed at the rented property as it makes it easier for you to shift to another place.
A good modern top rated grow tent offers you everything you need to grow your own plants. You can customize them to adjust humidity, heat, and light according to your needs. The grow tents are designed to keep light and temperature inside the tent different from the surroundings and according to the needs of your plants.
What is a grow tent?
In the most basic case, a growing tent is a fabric wrapped in a frame made of metal poles. The interior of the fabric is coated with reflective material, so your plants can use as much light as possible.
Planting tents are different from planting boxes because they are versatile and easy to transport. Planting boxes are usually heavy but not so fragile. Today, except for serious commercial hydroponic growers, almost everyone uses planting tents instead of custom planting boxes or planting rooms.
Why use a grow tent?
In short, controlling your indoor growth environment is essential to get the yield you want. The first line of defense for environmental control is to enclose your garden in a narrow space-this is the purpose of planting tents.
Once you have a planting tent, you can continue to consider other factors that affect planting, such as indoor planting lights, planting media, systems, nutrients, and ventilation.

How high should I buy a tent?
The answer to this question depends on several things: your lights, your plants, and your own height.
If you use powerful heat lamps such as HPS or MH for planting, you need to place them farther away from the plant canopy and require a higher height. On the other hand, if you use LEDs or CFLs for planting, you can place them closer and use a shorter tent.
Some plants also need a higher height. If height is an issue for you, you can plant dwarf plants or simply change to a taller tent in spring to ensure they have enough room to grow.
Finally, you may enter your growth tent at some point. It's great to have a tent that can be installed comfortably. Some shorter tents may be difficult to maneuver.
How powerful should my fan be?
As a general rule of thumb, your fan should completely replace the air in your growing tent every 2–4 minutes. Calculating this is simple:
Tent volume increase in cubic feet / 3 = cubic feet per minute (CFM)
So, if you are using a 2'x 2.5' x 5'7" tent, you have 121 cubic feet. Divided by 3 is about 40, so you should choose a fan rated at 40 CFM or higher .There are two considerations:
If you have an air filter in your ventilation system, you need to double the required CFM (in our example, 80 CFM).
If you have a thermal growth chamber, double the number again (160 CFM in our example). Some growers think this is too much, but it's up to you.
Important Benefits Of The Grow Tent
Grow tent is the ultimate solution for growing plants without soil and a garden. You can now grow plants even in your bedroom or balcony. The benefits you can avail from grow tents are:
Cost-effective
A grow tent is cost-effective, versatile, and it revolutionizes your personal indoor growing. Hence, the user gets an ideal environment for their various plants from a grow tent. Given that light, humidifier, fan, and air conditioner are present to the enclosed space in a grow tent.
Year round fruits
Say, for outdoor gardening the types of plants you like to grow depends on the weather condition. For instance, if you wish your tomatoes to thrive, you need a warm environment. Tomatoes don't grow well in cold weather when its elements are intense. But, the controlled environment depends only on how you can adjust it to grow tomatoes.
Less Energy
Imperfect inner surface of a grow tent which acts as a reflector, collects light rays from above. Then it delivers to the different areas below the canopy foliage. You may call this process a diffuse reflection. So, it can use light with more efficiency. Hence, it means saving in energy expenditure. As a result, you will get happier plants.
Light control
In an outdoor environment, light is a major issue for plants. For instance, some plants will thrive in a low-light environment. But along the equator area may scorch the same plants. In the low-light environment plants which need light may become dwarfed. Hence, we can overcome these issues when we grow our plant in a grow tent. A grower can control how little light should reach the plant and when to apply that light using a grow tent.

For gardeners who want to grow indoor plants, planting tents is very important. For any gardener, it is very interesting to fully control the growth and cultivation of crops and corn under a high-quality planting tent.
