Bentley Motors is entering the ecosystem of Web 3.0 with a new NFT collection of Non-Fungible Tokens.

Bentley is the latest luxury car maker to dive into the NFT world. The company says it will offer 208 unique designs created by Bentley Design.

The British company revealed that 208 stands for the top speed of its fastest Grand Tourer (the Continental GT Speed) and the entire production run of the iconic R-Type Continental in 1952 – the car that inspired the modern Bentley design DNA.

NFT is the first step that Bentley is taking in order to introduce more Web3.0 experiences for their customers all over the world.

Bentley customers love to explore the Internet with their digital currency and are now establishing businesses in the Metaverse. Bentley knows that engagement means being in digital marketplaces and offering asset tokens. They see how these tokenized goods have raised the profiles of other art and now want that same thing to happen to luxury cars.

The Polygon Network is an environmentally conscious blockchain. NFTs will be added to the Polygon Network and holders of these tokens will have exclusive access to company benefits. In September, the company will drop their first NFT.

The Italian luxury auto brand Lamborghini had its own NFT created, where it featured a 3D composite material that made its way to the International Space Station.

Bentley is embracing the development of new technology by creating an NFT car collection.
