Basil Essential oil is extracted from the leaves of Ocimum Sanctum or more commonly known as Holy Basil / Tulsi. It belongs to mint family, of herb Lamiaceae. This herb is native to South East Asia. it is considered the, ‘Elixir of Life’. Tulsi or holy basil is considered as purifier of mind, body and spirit. It is used for cooking purposes and is also widely known for its medicinal properties.
