Oliver Ekman-Larsson, back again on the ice at Gila River Arena this week, said he feels the very best he has this year and is preparing to make a direct effect for the Arizona Coyotes against the Nashville Predators in the Stanley Glass Qualifiers.

Training camp, the beginning of Phase 3, is defined to start July 13 for the 24 teams which will compete for the Stanley Glass. "I'm super excited that we get the opportunity to really push to find yourself in a Stanley Cup Playoff place, play against Nashville. I can't stand to be privately and watch the people fight without me, but Personally i think like (I) rushed it a little bit (returning to the lineup after the minor offseason surgery).

"It's simple to sit here today and discuss it afterwards, but easily would have done everything over again, I would have given a little bit more time (before time for the lineup)."

The Arizona captain overlooked four games from Feb. 1-8 after a knee-on-knee collision with LA Kings forward Dustin Dark brown on Jan. 30.

Ekman-Larsson, who offers scored at least 42 points in five of his 10 NHL periods, all with the Coyotes, had 30 points (9 goals, 21 assists) in 66 games this season after scoring 44 (14 goals, 30 assists) in 81 games in 2018-19.

"It was a bit along (this year)," Ekman-Larsson said. "Obviously, I'd like to place up some more factors, but I felt very good and I devote a lot of function to progress.
