A candidate for this certification should have at least six months of hands-on experience managing Azure, along with a solid understanding of Azure core services, Azure workloads, security, and governance. Additionally, this role should have experience using PowerShell, the Azure CLI, the Azure portal, and Azure Resource Manager templates.

AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
This course is suitable for IT staff who are just starting to work with Azure. This audience wants to learn about our offerings and get hands-on experience with the product. This course primarily uses the Azure portal and the command line interface to create resources. No scripting knowledge required. Students in this course will gain confidence to take other role-based courses and certifications, such as Azure Administrator. This course combines lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on labs. This course will also help prepare someone for the AZ-900 exam.
