With a growing interest of higher educational institutions towards a competency-based curriculum, the developments in the evaluation of student learning demand more higher-order critical thinking skills and competencies across a number of concept fields and domains.
It is difficult to gather a team of experts who possess extensive knowledge across the diverse concept-fields of higher education–from SMET (science, math, engineering, and technology) to Finance and Economics. Even a diverse team of course-specific experts fail to grasp the method of creating an inquiry, discovery, and a problem-based learning experience via assessments, and also are often not equipped with the associated writing skills. Also, for clients based in different time zones, maintaining a delivery and a meeting schedule can be a hassle.
