Animal Crossing: New Horizons will add a new tool

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the game's tool system is one of the main ways players interact with the island. You can buy Animal Crossing Bells on the ACItems website. From cutting trees with axes to pole vaulting through streams, players must use many items to properly navigate and farm their islands. However, the problem is that the tool is durable and will break like a Breath of the Wild weapon after repeated use.

According to the latest Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct, players will be able to create permanent ladders for their islands. The tool is officially known in-game as a "wooden ladder set-up kit," and its DIY recipe can be purchased from Nook's Cranny for 2,000 Bells. After purchasing the recipe, the player can build the ladder set-up tool and place it on the one-level cliff surface of most layers, which will allow permanent access between the two layers until the player decides to move it. Like most other items, the ladder can be customized in different colors to better suit the decoration of the island.

In terms of player movement, this inclusion is very important. Since its release, every time a player wants to climb a cliff, they need to stop moving, select a regular ladder tool from the player's inventory, place it, climb it, and finally put it away.

Until the player gets enough bells to start the terrain modification of their island and can add ramps and stairs, ladders are the only way to climb the cliff. But now, players will be able to create a permanent ladder, set it, and forget it, and no longer need to deal with the menu when completing island maintenance.

When the update is released on November 5, the ladder set-up kit is sure to make traversing one's island a lot quicker. If you don't have enough bells to get the DIY recipe, you can buy Animal Crossing Bells from ACItems.
