Making money (or Bells, as the case may be) is a major goal in Animal Crossing: New Horizons on the Nintendo Switch. In typical Tom Nook fashion, once you've converted your tent into a house, all subsequent house upgrades will cost Bells, and the prices for these upgrades will become increasingly astronomical. New Horizons provides a number of fruitful opportunities for earning a large number of Bells in a short period of time. Here are a few of the most effective techniques we've come across. Each island has a total of five rocks strewn about it. The majority of these will yield Stones or Iron Nuggets when struck with a Shovel or Axe, but one of the rocks will yield Bells when struck with a Shovel or Axe. Even though there is only one "Money Rock" available each day, hitting it eight times in a row will net you approximately 20,000 Bells. Please keep in mind that if you find yourself being thrown backwards when hitting your rocks https://www.goldkk.com/animal-crossing-new-horizons-bells buy animal crossing bells, you can try digging two holes (as shown in the gif above) to keep you from falling. When you first arrive on your island, you'll notice that there is only one type of fruit growing there. It is chosen at random from among five different options: Cherries, Apples, Peaches, Pears, and Oranges. This is your "native" fruit, and each piece of this fruit will sell for 100 Bells, making it the most expensive of the bunch. Not terrible, but certainly not outstanding. Now, if you manage to obtain a non-native piece of fruit (one of the other four fruits) and bring it back to your island, you will be able to sell it for 500 Bells per piece. When you spend a Nook Ticket on a Nook Island, you may notice non-native fruit trees growing on the islands you visit early in the journey. Bring that fruit back to your island and plant it, and you'll have a bumper crop in a matter of weeks.(If you're feeling particularly fancy and want to expedite the process, you can bring entire fruit trees back with you, but this will require you to have consumed one piece of fruit per tree you collect.)If you're playing with a friend, the process becomes even more straightforward. Not only can you collect your friends' native fruit and sell it in your town, but you can also bring your own native fruit and sell it in their town for the same 500 Bell price as your friends' native fruit. Having a non-native fruit orchard in your town should result in a good income once you have established yourself. In the event that you have 20 fruit-bearing trees, you will receive 30,000 Bells whenever the fruit is harvested. Plant more trees to get a greater return on your investment.Note on "Perfect Fruit": We haven't been able to locate any examples of "Perfect Fruit" so far. Perfect Fruit was a popular item in previous Animal Crossing games, but it was also difficult to grow and maintain in its natural environment. The Perfect Fruit option does not appear to be available in the game's first month, and we'll be sure to update this guide as soon as we discover a method of growing it.Once you have completed the construction of the Nook's Cranny store, you can begin selling Hot Items. Daily items change, but they are all home-made projects for which you already have the recipe. Due to the fact that it is the day's Hot Item, it will sell for twice as many Bells as it would normally. Most of the Hot Items aren't worth selling back to Timmy and Tommy, so they stay in their possession. The fruit-themed televisions and electronic devices https://www.goldkk.com/animal-crossing-new-horizons-bells Animal Crossing bells are the ones you should keep an eye out for. When it is the day's Hot Item, the Juicy Apple TV, for example, sells for 7,000 Bells, making it the most expensive item on the market. The cost of the ingredients (10 Apples and two Iron Nuggets) would normally sell for a little less than 3,000 Bells, so there is a substantial profit margin on the transaction. https://www.goldkk.com/animal-crossing-new-horizons-items And don't limit yourself to just one! You may continue to sell duplicates of the Hot Item for the same Bell value indefinitely. If you can make 20 Juicy Apple TVs out of 200 Apples and 40 Iron Nuggets, you'll have made 140,000 Bells (about $140,000). The fact that you should keep stacks of Native Fruit in your house storage is actually a good reason to do so, just in case a piece of fruit electronics happens to be the Hot Item on a given day.Because of the increased inventory space available in New Horizons, you can make a substantial amount of money simply by catching and selling various types of bugs and fish. Although some are more valuable than others, if you're playing on launch day in March, you should keep an eye out for Paper Kite Butterflies (which have white and black wings), Emperor Butterflies (which have light blue wings), and Peacock Butterflies (which have green and black wings) among other butterflies. Each of these will sell for between 1,000 and 4,000 Bells, making them a good investment of your time. Some other valuable bugs include the Tiger Beetle and the Tarantula, both of which can be found just chilling on the ground in your https://www.goldkk.com/animal-crossing-new-horizons-items animal crossing items neighborhood. Keep an eye on the Tarantula, as it will charge and you'll need to be precise with your net swinging timing to avoid being bitten.Inconsistent fish are more common because you won't know what kind of fish you're catching until you pull it out of the water. When it comes to shadows, there are plenty of low-value fish with large shadows and plenty of high-value fish with small shadows, so there isn't a great rule of thumb for which fish to target. As a side note, filling your pockets with 20 fish is very likely to net you several thousand Bells, so it's never a waste of time to go fishing. The Sturgeon is the only high-value fish that we've seen that is a little more consistent than the others. They cast large shadows and can only be seen at the mouth of a river as it exits into the ocean, where they are most common. As a result, if you notice a large shadow in that area, it is always a good idea to pursue it.
