How many attic floors do I need? That's a good question, and we get asked often! Deciding how much loft flooring system to on several factors. The first is how much you plan to store there and consider how much more could be there than what you currently have.

It ruins the experience of a usable loft space solutions if it's crammed full of stuff to the point where you won't use it because you can't move around and get what you're looking for. That's why we always recommend that people use the portions of the eaves (the roof edges that come into contact with the wall) in the loft to store their stuff, leaving the central area open for you to move around easily. easily in the attic. Don't get more than you need!

Some people choose a small area just around the perimeter of the attic hatch. It allows them to climb ladders and get their stuff without entering the attic. It's okay if you only have a few items to store on it, but if the number of items increases, the cost of expanding the area on the ship will be more.

The next factor in deciding how much attic space to take up is what your raised loft flooring will accommodate. Even though you're looking to maximize attic space, we're always trying to convince people not to bother going directly onto the porch. Where the roof's slope is in contact with the ground greatly reduces the area's usability.

Houses built in recent years often have mesh roofs. These tend to limit usable floor space and involve more work in carving the planks to fit snugly around the center points of the roof structure. Loft Boys prefer this is another business name smaller loft packs for these jobs because we can maneuver the board more easily and get nice, tight cuts.

We turned it into a work of art. We've done this through years of trial and error, trying to establish the safest and easiest way to get to the loft. Now we firmly believe that we have succeeded. And we want to help anyone who wants to do it themselves by sharing our business know-how.

As rustic garret boarding is installed to cover the bottom of your garret, you might also consider boarding off areas that would be too delicate to pierce.

As we formerly mentioned, due to the roof's pitch, it's frequently not worth installing garret flooring right up to the eaves, so we give our guests the option to have this area boarded off with small doors installed for the access if demanded. Doing this creates a nice clean finish and can also help isolate your garret from the axes of heat or cold waves.
