Brought up by a gangster named Bharat Malik, Shivam Pandit lives a faithless and reckless lifestyle, doing the bidding of his mentor - which also includes being a hit-man. Bharat does not get along with his brother, Raj, and nephew, Munna, who also resent the fact that Bharat trusts Shivam more than he even trusts his son, Ronnie. Shivam's life does change when he meets and falls in love with a devout Muslim woman, Aaliyah. Shivam wants to wed Aaliyah, but her father opposes this due to Shivam's criminal background, and the fact that he has been in prison twice. When Shivam insists on getting married regardless of the consequences, Aaliyah's dad aims a gun at him, but Shivam ducks and the bullet hits Aaliyah, killing her instantly. Shivam returns to his aimless lifestyle, this time in Hong Kong, still continuing to work for Bharat. When Bharat asks him to spy on his Pakistani mistress, Reema, Shivam does so, and finds out that she has a lover named Bilal. Shivam agrees to it but finally has a change of heart when he sees parallel between Reema and the caged birds Aaliyah used to sell to people for the purpose for freeing them from the cage. This leads to a face off between Shivam and Bharat leading to the movie's climax.
A gangster is torn between love and loyalty and he must review his choice to whom he has to choose.
Awarapan is One of my most favorite film.Great work from Emraan Hashmi.His and others acting and the making of the film make me compel to believe the story of the film.I've watched the film once more time with my friends and family.The theme of the film compel me to believe in love.Several scene of this film is really great.Music was also great.The music of the film is still my favorite.The film gave Emraan Hashmi another level...His style,speech delivery,attitude was really great.A great direction from Mohit suri.Hats off to the Awarapan team.We want Awarapan- 2......Keep it up Bhatt camp.Though Emraan's last a couple of film was flop so I think if Awarapan-2 will make,it would be better for Emraan Hashmi.
I hate Indian movie because of there copied concepts, they always copy concepts and stories from Hollywood or they have some typical stories. But this movie is without any mistakes or any stupid thing it is fantastic movie. After Karam and Omkara I like this movie and most good thing is that all the songs are best fits on situation and of course Pakistani singers especially "Mustafa Zahid" made music a fantastic one and soundtrack "To Phir Aao is just a perfect song with very cool acting of Emraan". Whole movie with there story is very good. I have seen lots of Indian movies and I always keep expectations but they always showed me crap stuff and overacting so I left watching Indian movie a long time ago now I came back to watch this movie and it made me happy that they are now working good but I will not say all movies are still good only few are.
