Alchohal only makes me extremely tired and slow, weed only makes me dizzy and gives me sea legs, cigarettes only make me feel like I have the black lung?

The cool effects of weed/ being high, a buzz, and the effects of nicotine: I cannot find a way to experience these things? I breath the smoke into my lungs and hold it, I tried eating 10, then 20 then 50mg of edibles, and I had 8 shots before I couldn't keep my eyes open and gave up.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there a medical thing I should have a doctor check? Am I feeling what these drugs are suppose to feel like? I've seen others, and I've seen movies/TV shows and everyone looks like they are getting something out of this that I'm not.

I feel like I'm missing out. I like the taste of some alchohal and like the smell of beer, but why would you socially drink beer? I would prefer a tea and then I would be able to drive home.

I feel I'm missing something and don't have anyone to talk to who would be able to say anything.
