If you're flying with your pet, the carrier must be at least 30 inches tall, 27 inches wide, and 40 inches deep, with a maximum weight of 151 pounds.

Get a health certificate from your pet's licensed veterinarian within 30 days of flying on Alaska Airlines if your Alaska flight takes you across state borders. Alaska will want a note on your certificate stating that your pet can endure temperatures of 45 degrees Fahrenheit or below if your flight will take you to a destination where the temperature will be 45 degrees Fahrenheit or lower. Additionally, pets traveling to another state or within the state of Alaska must have a document showing they've been vaccinated for rabies.
