A young countryside boy sets to the capital with the dream to become part of the country army. Unsuccessful he encounters a women who promises him a chance to enter the army if he pays her enough, the young boy unaware gives all his money and then finds out the he was tricked. Not having any money decides to sleep in the streets, the same night a young and beautiful women picks him op from the street and takes him home. Tatsumi stays a night since they promise him a position in the army as well. One night the house is visited by a group of assassins called night raid but who are the real bad guys of this story. Tatsumi ends up joining night raid and finds out that he identifies his self in this group more then in the army.
A countryside boy named Tatsumi sets out on a journey to The Capital to make a name for himself and met a seemingly dangerous group of Assassins known as Night Raid. Their journey begins.
A nice action packed anime, which had some plot failures, but it was entertaining overall. So, from where should I start? Firstly, the MC was a bit of odd, with his geeky clothes but super cool powers, not to mention a well built body topped by a kid's head. So, that and the fact that there were too many deaths in this one. The blood bathed action scenes were actually good, but there were too many hands gone missing. I mean, why did they have to be only the arms? Then, as a shounen, it had the overly exposed female characters, which didn't interrupt with the plot, but there were too many girls over the boys...Other than that, the universe of this anime was really interesting and the girl MC was super cool. So, 8 out of 10.
After having watched pretty much every single anime out there from one peice to hunter x hunter to death note to attack on titan i can with confidence say it is one of the best animes i have watched. TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA in 3 days i watched the anime twice and read the manga which sounds impossible but believe me i did it.

this should give you an idea to how great this anime is BUT IT HAS ONE NEGATIVE and that is that every single character pretty much dies and it is hard to come to terms with.
