Reigning UFC Middleweight Champion New Zealander Israel Adesanya has responded to the arrest of former American Light Heavyweight Champion John Jones.

“I'm sure you all will give him another chance. I swear I said he was going to screw up again, that he didn't change. At one time, I made mistakes, but I learned from them. I don't think this is the first time this happens in his house, but yeah ... All positive, guys, "Adesanya wrote on Twitter.

John Jones was arrested last week after being inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame at a gala in Las Vegas. In the Caesars Palace hotel room, a fighter beat their mother in front of his children. Shortly after his arrest, Jones made a statement in which he promised never to drink alcohol again in his life.
