Installation

The zline griddle insert is designed to be installed on a high grate range or rangetop. A high grate is a stovetop with a reversible cast iron grill and griddle combination that measures from the base of the grate to the top of the grate. This griddle will fit any 36" or 48" high grate range or rangetop. Please contact one of our sales representatives to help you determine if this griddle is the right one for your stovetop.
Cooking Surface

Zline griddle inserts feature either a smooth or grooved stainless steel cooking surface. Using a stainless steel cooking surface allows for more even heating, preventing the food from getting burnt on one side of the pan. It also offers a durable and easy-to-clean surface, making it perfect for pancakes and fajitas. It's a great option for high-volume operations that cook multiple day parts of service. It's also available in a Rapid Recovery(tm) composite plate, which transfers heat 5X faster than steel. This type of griddle plate is less labor-intensive to clean and does not require the use of a griddle brick. It's also a great option for open kitchens, as it provides a sleek surface that is more visually appealing than chrome plates.

The ZLINE reversible cast iron griddle, also known as the gfx, is a worthy addition to any kitchen. It can be installed on the top two burners of a 36" or 48" ZLINE range or a standalone unit.
