Acme Rolltech talks about new engraving technology at Labelexpo India

After wrapping up a very successful maiden participation at K 2022 in Germany in October, Ahmedabad-based Acme Rolltech marked its presence at the Labelexpo India 2022 held in Greater Noida. The company promoted its latest engraving technology, ACE, and talked about other new solutions such as high-density anilox rolls.

“We recently launched our new engraving technology called ACE. It features new engraving patterns that help label printers minimize issues such as ink spitting, bottling, etc. At the same time, this new technology helps improve print quality and makes it easier to clean aniloxes. Labelexpo 2022 is where talked about it for the first time,” says Sandeep Sharma, director, Acme Rolltech.

Founded in 2018, Acme Rolltech is the first Indian company to manufacture new ceramic rolls and sleeves, refurbish old rolls, offer cleaning solutions, and roll auditing services. The company caters to various markets and industries such as narrow web flexo, offset coating, corrugation, CI flexo, and specialty coating applications.

The company recently expanded its manufacturing capacity by investing in a new engraving machine and post-processing equipment. Sharma said Acme can offer the new engraving technology because of the new graving machine.

Acme Rolltech talked about its ATAC or Acme tactile high-density anilox rolls, which give raised effects like screen. It promoted its Acme high-density white or AHDW rolls for high-density white and AHDC or Acme high-density color.

“At Labelexpo, many OEMs were running our rolls live and visitors were impressed by the results. ATC and AHDW have been in the market for the past year while AHDC is a new launch at Labelexpo 2022,” Sharma says.

A great platform

According to Sharma, Labelexpo India is a great platform to meet new and existing customers and get a feel of what the industry is doing.

“For us, Labelexpo India had been a great place to launch new products and meet potential and existing customers. This year was even more exciting as Labelexpo India took place after four long years. We have had a great show,” Sharma concluded.
