Responsibilities
carrying out scientific research in the theoretical areas of the creation of computer technology, computer systems and networks, transformation and transmission of information;
development of methods, means and technologies for the use of computers, computer systems and networks in scientific research and design and engineering activities, management of technological, economic and social systems, as well as humanitarian areas of human activity;
participation in experimental tests of the performance of the developed software;
improvement of software for computer technology and automated systems and related areas (computer architecture and design, structure and database, development of algorithms, creation of artificial intelligence and robotic systems and complexes);
participation in developments for the technical development of computing facilities and their systems;
development of requirements and specifications for software for computer technology and automated systems based on user requests and the capabilities of technical means;
advising users of computer technology on the operation, optimization of computer systems, the composition of equipment and the cost of software and hardware;
development, recording and updating of data programs that control the operation of computing facilities and maintain the relationship of hardware and software when using computers and their systems;
creation of a network of communications between various computer installations;
preparation of scientific documentation and reports;
