A retiring couple sell their four-bedroom home for £850, 000 - and it comes complete with a CATTERY who has room for almost ONE HUNDRED cats.
Wendy and Graham Jones, who are both in their mid-70s, moved towards site of Timbers Cattery with Norwich, Norfolk, in 2007.
They said that 16 rice, the almost half-acre with land was a "very smaller, run-down place", with one or two small wooden sheds out the rear of their home.
But over the years, the couple have poured all their time and money towards completely renovating and refitting the cattery - which now is known for a five-star animal welfare history, and is able that will house 95 cats.
But they may be now selling the individually-heated chalet accommodation for felines on holiday, as well as his or her four-bedroom home, as they plan to retire.
And former schoolteacher Wendy states that she and her hubby, who ran his own consultancy business, will miss "each and every one" in their furry guests.
Wendy said: "It is quite emotional to be parting with it -- if it wasn't time for us to retire, I think we would stay here forever.
"We've got to know our customers in the past, and many of them have grown our friends.
"We now see they of some of our former customers come together, all grown up, and wanting to board their cats.
"I think we'd have started seeing a good number of grandchildren soon, too. "
But Wendy said she and Graham intend to stay in Norwich - all of which continue to visit the Cattery from time to time.
She said: "I hope whoever buys it's going to enjoy having us around to exhibit them the ropes. "
She said the business would suit a "dynamic, younger, cat-loving family".
The cattery charges £10 each day for individual cats, has 35 chalets inside the garden, and the facilities have got a five-star animal welfare score from South Norfolk Council.
It was completely refitted around 2016, meaning that an innovative owner will have the benefit of many years - minus the need for further significant investment on the business.
It has recently re-opened after closing as a result of Covid-19 outbreak - as well as being full this month.
Special health concerns have been introduced, like wearing of visors and increased cleaning to ensure the animals are safe and sound.
Selling agents Everett, Masson & Furby said: "We are delighted to bring into the market what is, in our opinion, one of the highest quality boarding catteries that individuals have had the joy of being appointed to market.
"Both the lovely spacious family home and the bespoke high quality cattery provide excellent top class accommodaton for both humans and cats alike.
"If you would like a cattery business combined with a property for yourself to settle in then look no further, as you are going to be hard pressed to beat what exactly is on offer here. ".
