A New Smartphone For Samsung Galaxy A90 With An Affordable Price

Mid-range phones are equipped with Snapdragon 855

After leaking the details of the Galaxy A90 5G, Samsung has confirmed that its next 5G-powered smartphone will not be an expensive flagship product, but from the mid-range Galaxy A series.

Following the early Galaxy S10 5G and Galaxy Note 10 5G, the A90 5G is designed to offer the same future-proof connectivity as Samsung's more high-end phones, but at a much lower price.
The next Samsung 5G phone may be the Galaxy A90.

It is scheduled to be launched in South Korea on September 6 and the UK will be available on October 4. You can make a reservation in the UK from September 20th, and Samsung has confirmed that it will also be launched in Australia.

Official pricing is only published in Euros. Its price is 749 euros (approximately 830 dollars, 630 pounds, 1,215 Australian dollars), but the price usually varies by country. Regardless of the final price, the Galaxy A90 5G will almost certainly be lower than the Galaxy S10 5G, with a suggested price of £1,099.

Having said that, the cost of the mid-end market has changed a lot in recent years – the Samsung Galaxy A70 is priced at £369 in the UK, while the Galaxy A80 is priced at £579. It can be said that it has entered the high-end market.

Considering that the A90 5G will package Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 (which is the latest Qualcomm chipset found in many Android flagships) and the 6.7-inch FHD + (1,080 x 2,400) AMOLED display, the phone may be the most expensive "middle end" product". Phones in range are available... if you can still consider classifying them as this category.

Other features of the A90 5G have been confirmed to include a three-camera array, a 48MP main camera and two other cameras for depth of field and ultra-wide lenses.

These are supported by various AI tools to help optimize the snapshot, and a 32MP front camera in a small slot on the front side with similar self-timer improvement software skills.

Samsung also promises to offer a dedicated Game Booster mode, 6GB or 8GB RAM, 128GB of storage (and a microSD card slot), 4,500mAh battery with 25W super fast charging, screen fingerprint scanner, face recognition and the brand Product compatibility.

Samsung announced that the Galaxy A90 5G will also be available in black or white.

What Do We Think Of The Samsung Galaxy A90 5G?

The most noteworthy thing about the Samsung Galaxy A90 is that it is very similar in design to other Galaxy A-series – which means that unlike the Galaxy A80, it has no rear-facing camera panels that can be moved and flipped.

Instead, there seems to be a rear array of three cameras, although we don't currently know the packaging specifications for these snaps. One of the ads posted by Blass seems to show that one image has become a wider picture, indicating that the phone may have a wide-angle lens.

There is no rear fingerprint sensor, which means that the A90 will use screen technology and has a standard "teardrop" slot to accommodate the front camera. All in all, this seems to be the "standard" of the Galaxy A series design.

That may be because Samsung made some sacrifices to get 5G on the Galaxy A90. Currently, all available 5G phones are high-end products, but the price of the Galaxy A series is often much cheaper – this may mean that the Galaxy A90 is the first affordable 5G phone, which is a rumor we have heard before.
