NBA 2K22 is a video game that can reproduce the real-life experience of NBA players. Being a regular player 2K MT, I decided to spotlight key defensive attributes from the game to find who was the best defensive player out of the three finalist.

The attributes outlined as being Perimeter Defense, Interior Defense, Help Defense IQ, and Defensive Consistency, respectively. The player with the highest total attribute score from these categories was declared the winner. Here's what each candidate scored.

With the NBA Playoffs currently underway, 2K Games uses NBA 2K22 to model the teams in the Playoffs and predict which two teams will participate in the final. The NBA Playoffs are currently underway, pitting 16 teams against each other in a best-of-7 tournament to decide who will be the 2022 NBA Champion. In the video game world, 2K Games attempts to predict the NBA Final, using NBA 2K22 to simulate the entire tournament like they did last year using NBA 2K21.

The simulation is constructed by using it's NBA Playoffs mode and entering every team in the appropriate positions so that they accurately represent the actual structure. NBA 2K22 then runs the games with an automated system. It plays each playoff round, determining the winner of each and advancing them to the next round.

The first round of the tournament had a few surprises, as the majority of the top teams smashed their opponents easily. The matchups featuring teams closer in the rankings were extremely close with that of the Mavericks and Jazz pair, which played the full seven games despite being without NBA 2K22's cover player Luka Doncic in games one and two.

The biggest surprise may be the seventh-seed Brooklyn Nets defeating the second-seed Boston Celtics in six games, mostly because the Celtics are off to a 2-0 start in the opening round. The only prediction that's most likely to be fulfilled is the Philadelphia Sixers Cheap NBA 2K22 MT, who beat over the Toronto Raptors, as the series is currently 3-0 to Philadelphia's favorable direction.
