The Saudi Arabia food also includes the use of spice. The most popular spice used is chilli. The red chilli powder is basically made from ground chilli, oil and other herbs like nutmeg, fennel, cinnamon and cardamom. The powder is mixed with ground beef or sheep's livers. This makes the meat moist and then is dried to form the powder.

Along with these spices, a variety of other spices are also used in the Saudi Arabia cuisines. These include coriander powder which is used to impart the intense and tasty taste to the dish. This is a very hot spice and should be taken sparingly. Herbs like mint and basil are also used in the dishes to give them a sweet taste and aroma. A variety of fruits, green leafy vegetables and dairy products are used to prepare this mouth-watering cuisine.

Saudi Arabia is also famous for the Jambi, a dish which is cooked in an underground oven. Traditionally this dish is cooked on an oil stove. There are many stories about how this dish was discovered. One of the stories says that the royalties came across a desert and a certain girl who were being chased for her pure beauty requested the king to take her as his wife. The king granted her request and she started cooking her dish on that same stove. The dish was called Jambi in the local area where it was later popularized by the British.

Garlic, curry and mangoes are famous in the local cuisine of the kingdom. The local king and other dignitaries and royalty can be seen eating these dishes. Crackers and breads are also part of the daily meal. The Jambi is one of the most popular meals in Saudi Arabia and is usually served during the early morning and evening.

This was then also known as Khabosh. This dish is prepared by mixing several spices together. Turmeric is a main ingredient of Khabosh خصم اي هيرب السعودية. This dish is considered to be spicy and is popular among the locals and foreigners alike. Some other dishes common in Saudi Arabia include hummus, lamb, rice, and Eid ul-Fitr.
