Pruning medicinal plants: topping vs fimming

If you want to get a crop of very dense, resinous buds, the type of pruning you are doing plays a very important role. The two most popular types of medicinal pruning are the apical pruning (known as topping) and the FIM pruning (known as fimming).
How FIMMING is done
As with topping, it is better to do this process in the vegetative stage of development. In contrast to apical pruning, however, this procedure has a less precise approach.
More specifically, FIM comes from the acronym of the phrase "Fuck I Missed", which means "Fuck, I have failed".
In this procedure, it is preferred that 75% of the tip of the main stem be torn off with your fingers in order to achieve a clean cut of the entire tip.
Aesthetically, it's very beautiful, but it's effective. At least 4 new shoots emerge when a week or two goes by. Sometimes a maximum of 8 can be generated. In addition, the secondary shoots gain ground at the same time.
Although some deformed fan blades will appear, the FIM method is not that different from the pavement. The time we have to wait for the plant to recover is between 1-2 weeks.
Prune the medicinal plant for bigger harvests
Do you want to maximize your crops? You may need to be willing to combine electric leaf trimmer. Apical pruning or FIM alone will improve results, but there are ways to increase the yield even further. If you are looking for a few extra grams, you need to put in extra effort. Merging the following two methods can be the best way to get incredible harvests.
How is apical pruning done?
The way to do the apical bit, or topping, is to make a neat cut at the tip of the main stem with previously sterilized scissors.
We need to cut off the top 100% so that the tail becomes two. Best of all, we can do this technique multiple times, meaning we can multiply the queues.
The vast majority of professional medicinal growers believe that the leaf trimmer machine is best for the vegetative development phase of the plant.
The ideal time to cut back is a topic for discussion.
It is usually agreed that bowl trimmer should be done early, when the plant has 3-5 knots. However, there are growers who say you should wait a little before pruning, after 30 days or until the plants are at least 30 cm.
