The majority of times pipes in our homes are blocked owing to the buildup of hair, dirt and food residue. If it's a clogged sink drain that you're dealing with the easy fix is to remove the pipe by unscrewing it from underneath the sink and give it a thorough wash or replace it with a new one that costs around $10 at most.

Not enough hot water

In order to drain a hot water tank just turn off the gas, water and electricity. Then take a hose and connect it to the bottom of the tank which is marked "drain out" or "outlet", the other end of the pipe should go into a drain. Then simply open out the drain valve usually located nearby on most models and let the water run till dry. Then turn on the fresh water supply and continue to allow the water to run till the water running out the hose is clear. You can then turn everything back on again and your problem will be gone.
