Had some issues when i first got this game but all i had to do was download the demo then download the full game! now that its fixed i love this game its just like the online normal version but you control everything and you dont need any sort of unlocks (im a level 50 ish and a $35 supporter). This game. Is awesome. This game is Free to Play on their website. This is the paid version if you want local features and the ability to host online games. Support your devs, this game is free but gosh darn is it ever worth money. Now to the review. This is a paintball sim. A very good one with incredible attention to detail. The game play feels fun, fast paced, and frantic, all while maintaining a deep level strategy as well. Give it a shot. If you like shooters or if you like paintball, you wont be disappointed. This is the online 2D arena shooter you need. P.S. All my time is in the online web version. To reiterate: this paid version is not required to play online multiplayer.. Played heaps on the website, if u like paintball youll like this, been having issues getting this local version working for singleplayer, multiplayer still works fine.

DevLog #2 - Sneak Peak and Things we have been working on : Using 3rd Party Custom Models + Steam Workshop. [DesktopMascotEngine] is Live on Steam Now, Sneak Peak of Updates for this weekend : Sneak Peak preview of the Custom Character and new Animation Engine were working on right now Okay folks, the wait is over. Were now live in Early Access phase on Steam and hopefully it goes well. We got showered with praises to whoever we showed our sneak peaks and previews to, so hope Early Access users like it too. As some might have noticed, there are a few new characters currently missing in the latest build thats live/available on Steam. It is intentional as we have rolled them back to implement the new Animation Engine we had been working this week and the past one rigorously. Were just doing a few more tests and optimizations and the new characters will be restored tomorrow or day after max. Thanks to the new Animation Engine and the Dynamic State Machine, this will lead us to finishing our experimental Custom Character usage feature, which when combined with Steam Workshop would let you use some cool 3rd party and freely available models for interesting stuff and fun, as showed above and in the preview of our last DevLog (#2). Other than this, we will also be experimenting a bit with Voice Responses and Voice Expressions for a few characters. TLDR: Expect new characters to be restored by tomorrow, new animation engine and dynamic state machine by this weekend and some more interesting stuff by this month's end. We plan to stay in Early Access for less than 3 months, as for us EA is to complete and release our experimental features in phases and gather feedback from the community on them, and improve [DME]. As always, please use the Steam Discussions for any feature suggestions, questions, feedback, etc. We will also create a Poll/Voting discussion for new characters and features to be added next, as well as AI-Assistant's first module.. Venom. Watched it. Liked it. Created Venom Desktop. : Nothing much, don't trust reviews and critics. The movie is fun and enjoyable. Not endorsements or affiliations with them, just excited and wanted to say that. Also, found the movie's logo transition a perfect test for our "Living Environments". - Loops - Has transparency (currently 95%) so your original wallpaper is also see through - Supports Sound effects/click interaction Thinking to perhaps release it as well along with the Halloween demo/special we are trying to finish in time.. Desktop Mascot Engine Regarding state of Windows 7/8 compatibility and Feature Requests : Hey fellas, We were supposed to release a content update around/before Christmas but due to family commitments and being ill since New Year delayed a lot of stuff. Since then, I have been committed to diagnose, research and fix DME' backward compatibility with Windows 7 and Windows 8 as my priority issue. I am happy to confirm that I have finally found a way to make DME work for Windows 7 and 8 again, like our very early builds. The compatibility broke due to how our newer render engine works, and to make it work on Windows 7 and 8, we had to compromise a bit and find a middle ground between older and newer render engine. It took time and effort, but it finally worked without much performance sacrifice. Due to this new change, we will need to add some more extra settings to allow users to manually fine-tune their performance usage, mascot resolution and its play area (which affects performance). ------------------------------------ Furthermore, we are now taking requests for Utility and Productivity features to be added to DME. Let us know here or in Community Discussions what features you would like to see. Our next major priority would be loading user/custom 3D models as mascots. Also, since Early Access games do not make large sales, they do not turn good or regular revenue as well. As such, we will be side-working on a small, new game project to release as well. We need that to cover our living and day to day expense so we can continue working on Desktop Mascot Engine without rushing it or having to make it a part time project. We are also thinking to start streaming our development/programming sessions to allow users to see behind the scenes, how we work, what we work on and learn, if its worth anything.. 2D Workshop is now Live : A new build update has just been pushed to Steam which includes the 2D Workshop Submission tool. The workshop tool can be accessed by clicking the "Workshop" button in the Main Interface or by accessing the "WorkshopTool/workshop.exe" build file in DME's steam folder. Eff has also published a basic guide on how to use the Workshop tool here: Currently, the workshop tool only includes Submission for 2D characters. Our 2D Character Engine is also ready and will be released in 2 days time, we are testing the "Subscribe/Download" part of the workshop with it. Its built keeping Shimeji's in mind (which most of the users requested) and as such, supports all of the Shimeji's (sprites/animations). To start with, we have kept support for the following Animations- Idle, Walk, Climb, Fall. We will add support for more animation types and custom actions in upcoming days, as we develop the 2D character engine more. For the time being, you can start submitting your 2D characters/shimejis to the workshop and start subscribing to what you like, once the 2D Engine update is released in next 2 days, you can start using them. The workshop tool also needs some improvements but we feel its stable and functional enough to be released as a version 1. Feedback is most welcomed, for suggestions and requests please use the community discussions.. DevLog #3 - Big Update tomorrow, New Features and Mascot Charas : One of our first major Content Update is finally ready for release. Although initially due for release on past Sunday/Monday, it took its sweet time and is now planned to be released this coming Thursday/Friday (24-25 May 2018) . By taking this extra time, we were able to add some more features and content other than what we initially planned, including a few experimental features like Voice Expressions and Voice Response (for the AI Assistant). We will include full list of changes in the official Patch Notes, but here are a few major things coming up.. Patch v6.19.2018 - Content Update (Settings, Features, Charas) : Official Patch notes for the new update pushed today.. Hot Patch v5.12.2018 (Multi Display Fix) : We just released a Patch to address the bug with Multi Displays and the Mascot not showing.
