New Delhi, Aug 19 (PTI) Bain Capital-backed Emcure Pharmaceuticals has filed preliminary papers with capital markets regulator Sebi to raise funds through an initial share sale.

The initial public offering (IPO) comprises fresh issuance of equity shares worth Rs 1,100 crore and an offer of sale of 18,168,356 shares by promoters and existing shareholders, according to the draft red herring prospectus (DRHP).

A Tis Hazari court on Friday summoned managing director of real estate major Emaar MGF Shravan Gupta as an accused after taking cognisance of the Income Tax department’s complaint against him for allegedly not furnishing details of his foreign bank accounts.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Devendra Kumar Sharma has summoned Gupta on March 24.
