The retired U.S Navy Commander James Feldkamp is presently an adjunct

professor at George Mason University and Henley-Putnam School of

Strategic Security, where he teaches undergraduate courses on domestic

terrorism and international terrorism.
Feldkamp got his "wings" as a Naval Flight Officer and Electronic

Counter-Measures Officer on the EA-6B, the U.S. Navy's carrier-based

electronic assault aircraft. Desert Shield and Desert Storm, 1991, saw

him flying combat sorties from the aircraft carrier USS Midway.

In addition to serving as a member of the U.S. Naval Reserves, Feldkamp

was also a founding member of the Joint Counter-Terrorism Task Force in

Norfolk, Virginia. For the 2004 and 2006 election seasons, he resigned

from the FBI to run as the Republican candidate for Oregon's District 4

congressional seat.
