1997 8,7 of 10 Story After winning a trip on the RMS Titanic during a dockside card game, American Jack Dawson spots the society girl Rose DeWitt Bukater who is on her way to Philadelphia to marry her rich snob fiancé Caledon Hockley. Rose feels helplessly trapped by her situation and makes her way to the aft deck and thinks of suicide until she is rescued by Jack. Cal is therefore obliged to invite Jack to dine at their first-class table where he suffers through the slights of his snobbish hosts. In return, he spirits Rose off to third-class for an evening of dancing, giving her the time of her life. Deciding to forsake her intended future all together, Rose asks Jack, who has made his living making sketches on the streets of Paris, to draw her in the nude wearing the invaluable blue diamond Cal has given her. Cal finds out and has Jack locked away. Soon afterwards, the ship hits an iceberg and Rose must find Jack while both must run from Cal even as the ship sinks deeper into the freezing water 1006584 vote

One of my favorite scene of all time. Everything is perfect in here. The image, the sound, the music, everything... *May include spoilers
The movie Titanic (1997) is an outstanding example of something old brought to life again. James Cameron (writer/director) gives us the story of two lovers, Rose and Jack, fighting to stay together, and eventually fighting to survive. Cameron's well-written and well thought out script went on to become one of the most admirable films of all time, also winning eleven Academy Awards. Cameron's playwriting talent shines from the moment we see the submersibles diving down to the wreck, to the moment Rose is rescued. This story will leave you sitting on the edge of your seat till the very end. If you are not interested in romance, the amazing special effects and the action-packed second half will leave you loving the movie from right after the moment it ends. This movie will make you laugh and cry, it will leave you angry, awed, and perhaps even frightened, but most of all it will touch your heart. You will feel as though you were there on that night, as you watch the ship from the time it hits the iceberg, right until it slips beneath the waves. I strongly recommend this movie for anyone who wants a romantic movie, and a heart-pounding adventure.

Bloated, syrupy disappointment. Even the special effects were bad. It was painfully obvious every time they "went digital. Took me right out of the movie each time. Watching little digitized people fall down the screen. what entertainment. I rather play "Pong.

Went to solve titanic's mystery and almost got themselves into serious trouble.

2:11 Imagine the whole world being agitated.

Who knows about Titanics sisters I do Like if same.

For those curious as to why there are so many shoes laying around, the salt in the water dissolved all of the bodies over the course of 100 years so, all that really remains of the people onboard are the shoes they were wearing. Shoe leather takes longer to dissolve than bones and fabrics. Long story short, wherever theres shoes in this video, those are bodies. The thought still scares me even if i do not belong to that era, whenever i hear about titanic there's an unusual Deja Vu which i feel & feel very sad.

It always amazes that some of the ship still looks so clean and first voyage shape. Who watch all of the video coz i did_like if you watch all of it. The titanic was the wrost sinking ever RIP titanic if the titanic didn't hit the iceberg then it will be here today. You know the first cover I seen it when I was going down the YouTube channel thing what's Godzilla just in front of the Titanic I think Godzilla is not extremely real people I know that I already knew that the Titanic had lots of pieces moved apart from each other and now from the picture in front of that Titanic what was Godzilla that just changed my mind and made me get mad and mad mad mad that's one reason why Godzilla is just a T-Rex with some weird powers with some spikes and stuff you guys really think that Godzilla knock-down the Titanic that's just one was a stupid wondering if we're 100 dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dumb.

ITS BEEN 100 YEARS 1912 SINCE THE TIANTIC SANK SO SAD. I like how they even made the tugboats seen in the photo towing the Titanic out of the harbour as they actually do look exactly like those tugboats shown in the photo. ᴡᴀᴛᴄʜ ᴏʀ ᴅᴏᴡɴʟᴏᴀᴅ ɴᴏᴡ ➼. Titanic is a big ferry I have never encountered a ship this long and the weight.
I get a sense that Im scared but I know I shouldnt be.
Wooooooooooooooooooooow very cool.

Please titanic 2 update. Romantic song, music, but film is another it is I know how to sing this!really. I saw this first time. i didnt see the film. But I cried. Like if you cried too. Titanic's flaws were not on the outside, but the inside. The original blue prints called for everything below waterline to be a water tight compartment. Additionally the rest of the ship was supposed to have more bulk heads. However, white star was more concerned with passengers being able to walk around the ship unhindered. So the water tight compartments didn't extend the full height of the ship. Additionally the ship was only designed to withstand 4 flooded compartments. The damage to the hull started in the third compartment, and extended past boiler room 6, resulting in 5 compartments flooding. Once the bow of the ship got low enough in the water the flooding began a cascading effect, with water flooding over the top of each bulkhead like an ice cube tray. He ship was very built for its time, but it suffered catastrophic damage, and stresses that no one could have truly foreseen at that time.

Everybody on the titanic: This ship is unsinkable sinks to a piece of snow. First and foremost, before anyone makes an opinion, I am not a teenage girl in love with Leo, I am actually a 27 year old guy that loves Titanic. When I say I love it, I don't just mean the movie, I mean the ship. I have been an avid Titanic historian since I was in the 7th grade where I did my first report, or at least that is what I called it back then. br> But now on to why I wanted to post this, here lately I have read nothing but bad press on "Titanic" and a lot of people say it is because people want the new "Star Wars" to beat "Titanic" in grossing. Well to the people that are asleep in the back row of the audience, WAKE UP! it is inevitable for this to happen. But is "Titanic" and "Star Wars" just about money or maybe are there two terrific movies involved in this. I am here to say in my opinion, it has nothing to do with "Star Wars" but it has to do with the following. br> The people that are giving bad press, if you look close, are the ones that have seen it way after it's first release. It is inevitable for the movie to fail in their eyes because the hype that has followed this movie can "NEVER" be met by any movie that you watch. I was one of the fortunate ones that my wife dragged me to the theatre on opening night and I have to say, Titanic was the best movie I have seen in a long, long time. I can say that because I didn't have any hype of the movie going into it, no promises of grandeur or of excellence, just a plain movie and my eyes to judge for myself. I can sit and watch the infamous "Godfather" a dozen times and let me tell ya, I can pick that movie apart just the like the average Joe sitting next to me.
Titanic is a great movie and for those of you that believe it is so far from fact that it isn't funny, I hate to tell you but of all the movies made about the infamous ship, this is the closest so far and that includes "A Night To Remember. Now please don't get me wrong, I loved "A Night To Remember" but if I am not mistaken, the facts in the movie swerve off quite a bit when it comes to the actual sinking.
Now for my last entry, people say "My God, the acting was terrible. Remember this, if I am not mistaken, the actors/actresses that that were in the movie, beat out a lot of stiff competition for their parts. This all goes in the hype and picking the movie to pieces category in my opintion and I agree, Kathy Bates is in a league of her own, enough said on that.
One last thing to ponder on, how many movies that you know of, that is a historical fact, has caught the hearts and mind of the public the way that "Titanic" did. If I am not mistaken, there has never been a "Deathstar" or a "Wookie" discovered in this world at the present time.
Thank you and God Bless.

This song is the most beautiful and the most exciting I've heard! Song of the Titanic. The most beautiful in the world.
