Please do not judge this game by that absolutely laughable description. Caliper may sound terrible and not look like the prettiest game on the block, but this one of those little hidden gems. The idea of the game is to solve each level by collecting the star and unlocking the portal to move onto the next level - and then eventually a whole new zone. As you progress through each zone the puzzles get more difficult. The puzzles range from relatively easy to true head-scratchers and I applaud the dev for keeping me challenged! The graphics might not be the best, the controls aren't always perfect, and the english version of the store's description makes no sense, but the puzzles are actually REALLY good, really well designed and really challenging! The game is inspired by Sokoban style games, but it adds a lot of new and fun mechanics to the genre. Only negative side of this game (well, apart from the bad english translation, but that's not really important since there isn't any text in the game other than in the menu) is that there is no ctrl-z feature, so if you make a small mistake, or hit the wrong button (for example push instead of kick), you have to start the puzzle again from the beginning. But this is a great little puzzle game, once you figure out what you're supposed to be doing. Go into the yellow entrances, push and/or kick the various blocks around to collect the star and press the red button to get back out the portal doorway. Once completed the doorway will turn green. Red doorways are locked. Great game, nice graphics, very addictive.. Caliper is a 3D sokoban type of game that offers complex puzzles with simple rules.. u2b50u2b50u2b50u2b50
