Bulletproof follows two cops, Bishop and Pike, as they chase down hardened criminals in London's East End. On the surface Bishop and Pike have a lot in common they are cool, smart, unapologetically street-wise and tough; they share a deep, fraternal relationship - and are always there for each other. However, they come from very different backgrounds and their personal motivations and emotional lives outside the police force differ as a result: Pike is an aspirational family man, the son of a decorated police officer who's determined to follow in his father's footsteps, but not be in his shadow. Bishop grew up in care homes and on the streets, and never knew his father. Despite these differences Bishop and Pike are bonded by the same moral code and work brilliantly well together even when the chemistry between them looks set to explode.
Growing up, Bishop and Pike had very different lives. Pike's dad was the first black police commissioner and the son grew up always trying to live up to expectations, while Bishop grew up looking for a father figure as he was passed around foster homes, moving from school to school. Bulletproof will put their friendship to the test for the first time.
I early right reviews but the negative reviews here got me thinking maybe I'm weird?

I'm a mid forties business owner with a lot of stress in my life. And this provided over 6 episodes a total escape from the world into this bonkers , shocking , swearing , fast cars, sex , gun toating 18+ madness which was actually funny.

Ok your sitting there at times thinking why do they only have hand guns when an armed unit would have mp5's - all the badeys have machine guns so why don't they? And they seem to be able to shoot people with no oversite or police commission to desk bound them.

It's not real and that's the point. It's not going to be accurate it's going to be entertainment.

And that it was - has left me hooked for the second season.

End of the last episode had me an emotional wreck - so it's not all funny there are some deeply serious moments too.

Delivered exactly what I wanted and needed....10/10 and some Probably all those people that have said bad things don't get London at all. It's great entertainment, and the actors are a credit to modern British drama aiming at a confused youth. It is also great for the black communities of London showing kids they have another option other than gangs. Funny, great action, and just overall it has a great vibe to it. Keep up the good work!
